Originally conceived as an exercise in pure technique and an investigation of materials these four pieces in total represent cards from the Rider Waite tarot card pack illustrated by Pamela Coleman in 1909.
Widely considered the archetypal tarot pack these images have been recreated and interpreted by artists for many years.

These four pieces are made on the reverse of the glass with the addition of water and surface gilding using 23 carat gold and in some cases red gold.
